Description
"A Faraway Place" is a place in my imagination.
I've traveled to many areas, including Scotland, which I loved.
I was in awe of the rocky coastlines, the angry sea, and the brooding skies.
I loved the crashing waves, the rocky beaches, and the windblown vegetation - all part of the beautiful experience of Scotland!
I received this amazing poem from Peter Lim that he wrote for this image!
A Faraway Place
By Peter Lim
Where the waves embrace the rocks
Under the benign daily sky
Nature a melodic sings in mirth
As the gentle breezes drift by
Every sea has its story to tell It knows our every human joy and pain
Of love, of hopes and of dreams that perish
Of loss that will never be regained
Artists and poets they bring to life
Every human pulse and endeavour
Which will vibrate through the veins of time
To create a world of grandeur and splendour.
