As the pandemic retreats into the rear-view mirror, we’re all left somewhat dazed, bewildered and confused with what’s “left!”
So many changes taking place in so little time. So many lost loved ones.
So many lives up-ended …and yet, and yet, out of all this darkness emerges signs of hope and renewal.
It seems the darkness of the tunnel we’ve spent the last year plus living in - is actually receding into the distance and new vistas and opportunities are coming into focus!
The “new” words like “social distancing” that have become a part of our culture are slowly being replaced by words like “social gatherings.”
The whole world has gone through this crisis together – and - as we emerge – there’s renewed hope for light and love to be our guide.

Allison Constantino is an Orlando, Florida, area artist who loves Nature. She loves the ocean and is an avid supporter of cleaning up our oceans from plastic debris and is part of the Surfrider Foundation’s “Rise Above Plastics” initiative.
