I love to watch these beautiful whales, which are part of the dolphin family. I wanted to create a painting that opens up a door into their world of fractured sunlight reflecting through the water. This image is painted on sustainable, renewable wood.

Hi Michel! Thank you SOOO much for your VERY kind comments! I am in awe of what you and your Nikon can do! You've really managed to "connect" with your subject manner, much in the way I would expect more of a "film noir" (my favorite genre) way than in "the present." Well done you! Some of my favs of YOURS are: "Rainy Day in Paris," "Tango, the Motion," "Beach Dancers," Hide at the Pride," and sooo many more! As I mentioned, I love your ability to connect with your subject manner, seemingly lost (sometimes) with the cold hard technology of current offerings! I think that's why I love "film noir!" It's got that edge about it. High shadows and lots of contrast. Very striking! Thank you again for your comments. Have a great week!
